Deposit Account

(IDA & FDA)

An Institutional Deposit Account (IDA) allows ministries, organizations, or institutions to securely place funds with WAF. These accounts can be used for the organization's own purposes or in a fiduciary capacity, such as a Fiduciary Deposit Account (FDA), where funds are managed on behalf of another person, trust, or estate.

Important Information about Deposit Accounts

Revocable

Organizations can use these accounts to allocate funds for various purposes, such as achieving growth, reaching a specific goal, or for income.

Income

Organizations can choose to receive income each quarter or have it reinvested, based on their specific needs and goals.

Termination

These agreements remain in place until the organization, acting for themselves or in their fiduciary capacity, close the account.

Dear Friends,

A Deposit Account with Western Adventist Foundation (WAF) provides organizations with a secure and flexible way to manage their own institutional funds (IDA), or fiduciary assets in your care (FDA). Whether you’re saving for a specific project, supporting operational needs, or acting in a fiduciary capacity for a living person, their trust, or the estate of someone who made you their trusted representative, a deposit account offers a straightforward solution with the ability to adapt as financial needs evolve.

Through WAF, your deposit account is carefully managed to align with the unique goals of your ministry or organization.

Why Organizations Choose Deposit Accounts:

  • Flexibility: Easily adjust the use of funds as your goals or needs change over time, adding or withdrawing principal and/or income as necessary.

  • Client-Directed: Select the allocation model that best fits your needs, with the option to update it as your requirements change.

  • Client-Focused: Utilize the account to support various objectives, whether for your own organization (IDA) or to responsibly manage and fulfill the needs or wishes of those who entrusted you with their funds (FDA).
