Revocable Cash Trust
(RCAT)
A Revocable Cash Asset Trust (RCAT) provides a flexible way to reserve funds for a future gift to your chosen ministry—without giving up control today. Established with WAF, an RCAT allows donors to support charitable goals while retaining the ability to update, reallocate, or revoke the gift if circumstances change.
Important Information about RCATs
Revocable
Donor(s) have the flexibility to end the agreement and recover their funds if their needs or goals change at a later time.
Income
Donor(s) can choose to receive RCAT income each quarter or have it reinvested, based on what suits their needs best.
Termination
These agreements remain in place until they’re revoked. If the donor(s) passes away while the trust is still funded, a portion is gifted to their designated charity.
Dear Friends,
A Revocable Cash Asset Trust (RCAT) gives you a flexible and intentional way to set aside funds for your favorite ministry or organization, with the freedom to adjust later as your needs change. Whether you’re preparing for a future gift or looking for a simple charitable planning tool to add your financial or estate plan, an RCAT allows you to allocate your funds today—without making an irrevocable commitment.
Through Western Adventist Foundation, your RCAT is managed with care and aligned with your charitable goals.
Why Donors Choose RCATs:
-
Revocable by Design: You can change or cancel your agreement at any time, based on your goals or circumstances.
-
Quarterly Distributions: Income may be paid to you quarterly or retained in the account depending on your needs.
-
Purpose-Driven: A percentage of the RCAT funds are set aside for charitable distribution at a future time, supporting the ministries and missions with a testamentary gift.
-
Estate Planning: Your Estate or Trust will receive the remainder of the RCAT after the distribution to the charity that you've designated.
